Featured Raleigh zip code: 27615
The first zip code in our new blog series, 27615 is quintessentially known as North Raleigh. Primary roads include the northern tips of Six Forks Road and Falls of Neuse Road and is easily accessible to I-540 making treks to Brier Creek, Durham and the Raleigh-Durham Airport, a breeze.
Lifestyle destinations
This area of Raleigh is comprised of many shopping centers - both new and old - all within a one mile or less radius of one another. In fact, Falls of the Neuse Road is lined with North Ridge Shopping Center, Sutton Square, Falls Village, and Lafayette Village. All of these destinations contain a plethora of retail shops and restaurants (both chain and independent) such as Raleigh’s classic Winston’s Grille and Smashburger.
Neighborhoods & Properties
As far as homes and neighborhoods go, many are already long-established communities that are going through a revitalization. North Ridge, for instance, has many large, more traditional homes that were built in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Many of these homes are being renovated and upgraded. On the other hand, Crosswinds (near Strickland and Creedmoor Roads) was developed in the 80s and features a mix of traditional and contemporary-style homes. Durant Trails, another popular neighborhood, was also established in the 80s and is comprised of smaller, single-family homes.
Sales History
